In this portfolio project, I worked as a YouTube Channel Growth Manager, focusing exclusively on organic and sustainable channel growth through professional YouTube SEO.
The goal of this project was not short-term spikes or artificial engagement, but long-term visibility, discoverability, and authority building on YouTube search and suggested video sections.

YouTube is the second largest search engine in the world, and without proper YouTube SEO, even high-quality videos fail to reach the right audience. This project demonstrates how a well-structured SEO-driven strategy can transform a channel’s performance, improve rankings, and create consistent organic growth.

The entire project was designed around:

  • Search intent optimization

  • Algorithm-friendly content structure

  • Viewer retention and engagement signals

  • Data-driven optimization decisions

By applying advanced YouTube SEO techniques, I ensured the channel was optimized at both video-level and channel-level, allowing every piece of content to work as a long-term asset instead of a one-time upload.

Challenges & constraints

The channel had quality content, but videos were not appearing in YouTube search results or suggested feeds due to poor SEO implementation.

Tags, hashtags, playlists, cards, and end screens were either missing or not optimized according to YouTube SEO best practices.

Previous efforts did not properly use YouTube analytics to improve CTR, watch time, and retention.

To overcome these challenges, I implemented a complete YouTube SEO growth framework, focusing on organic performance and algorithm alignment.

I started with in-depth keyword research using:
